General Trip Details

Student Transportation: Provided to and from event via School Bus
Meal Info: Bring a bag lunch to eat before we leave school, and a snack to eat when we return to school.
Festival Site: Matilda Torres HS (16645 Rd 26, Madera, CA 93638)
Admission: Free
Symphonic Band Performs: 12:30 PM
Spectator Parking: Available on streets near Matilda Torres HS. Be aware of restrictions in school lots.
Important Reminders
Students should bring their concert attire to change into after break.
Students will be excused from 3rd period and lunch P.E., and given an “excused tardy” for 7th period
Leave backpacks in the Band room.
Don’t forget to bring your instrument and music (Percussion: Bring sticks, mallets, & equipment assigned by Mr. Power)
Bring a sack lunch (we will need to eat before getting on the bus) and a snack for when we return
Itinerary - Symphonic Band
8:45 am - Go to 1st period as usual
10:45 am - Report to ASI Bandroom in and change into Concert Attire/Get instruments & music from lockers
11:00 am - Load Bus (leave backpacks on the racks or in lockers)
11:15 am Depart for Matilda Torres HS
12:00 pm Arrive at Matilda Torres HS and check in
12:05 pm Warm Up
12:30 pm Alta Sierra Symphonic Band Performance
12:55 pm Sight-Reading/Clinic
1:25 pm Put instruments away and load the buses
1:30 pm Depart for Alta Sierra
2:15 pm Arrive at Alta Sierra/Change back into school clothes if you want to
2:30 pm Go to the remainder of 7th period.
