Welcome to the Buchanan Instrumental Music Calendar Page! Here you will find events for Band, Colorguard, Jazz, and Percussion. Our program has an active schedule and this is the place for you to stay updated. Below the calendar are instructions for accessing or subscribing to our calendar on any of your devices.

For iPhone or iPad — Apple Calendar App
If you use the Google Calendar app on your iPhone or iPad, see the instructions below for Google Calendar.
1. Copy the calendar subscription URL:
2. Open the Calendar app on your iPhone or iPad.
3. Tap “Calendars” at the bottom of the screen.
4. Tap “Add Calendar” and then select “Add Subscription Calendar.”
5. Paste the calendar URL into the Calendar URL field:
6. Tap “Find.”
7. Enter a name for the calendar, such as Buchanan Instrumental Music, and select a color if desired.
8. For “Account,” select “iCloud” if you want the calendar subscription to appear on your other Apple devices using the same Apple Account.
9. Tap “Done.”
The calendar will now appear in the Apple Calendar app alongside your other calendars. The calendar is read-only, so you cannot add or edit events from the subscription.
Tip: If you don't see the new calendar, open the Calendar app, tap Calendars, and make sure the subscribed calendar is checked.

To add the band calendar to the Google Calendar app on an Android phone, iPhone, iPad, or other device, you will first need to subscribe to the calendar using Google Calendar on a computer.
1. On a computer, go to Google Calendar:
Make sure you are signed in to the Google account you want to use with the calendar.
2. On the left side of the screen, find “Other calendars.”
Click the + next to “Other calendars,” then select “From URL.”
3. Enter the following calendar URL:
4. Click “Add calendar.”
The calendar will appear under “Other calendars.”
5. Open the Google Calendar app on your phone or tablet and make sure you are signed in with the same Google account you used above.
6. Make sure the subscribed calendar is turned on.
Tap the menu ☰, find the calendar under your account, and make sure it is checked.
The band calendar will now appear alongside your other calendars in the Google Calendar app.
