Student Transportation (Symphonic Band): Provided to and from the event via School Bus.
Student Transportation (Wind Symphony): Provide to the event only.
Meals Provided/$ for Meals Needed:
Wind Symphony: You may want to pack a sack lunch. You will have 25 minutes to change and eat before we depart.
Symphonic Band: Please pack a sack lunch to eat after we get back to BHS. We get back at the end of the lunch period, so their may not be time to get school lunch.
Chamber Orchestra members in Symphonic Band: Pack a lunch.
Festival Details
Festival Site: Paul Shaghoian Concert Hall, 2770 E. International Ave, Fresno, CA, 93730
Festival Session 1: 9:40am to 12:45pm
Festival Session 2: 1:30pm to 4:55pm
Admission: Free
Symphonic Band Performs: 11:45am
Wind Symphony Performs: 2:55pm
Spectator Parking: Free in the lot south of the concert hall.
Concessions: None
Important Reminders
Out of respect for fellow audience members and spectators as well as copyright laws, please do not video record Buchanan/Alta Sierra Instrumental Music Performances. Thank you for your cooperation.
Students will be excused from all missed classes and should speak with their teachers about missed assignments.
Please remember to pack a sack lunch to eat before/after the festival.
Wind Symphony members who drive can drive themselves to the festival (leave WITH the bus, not before.)

9:00am Depart for Concert Hall

10:15am Watch Clovis East Symphonic Winds
10:45am Watch Clovis West Symphonic Band
11:15am Warm Up
11:45am Buchanan Symphonic Band Performance
12:15pm Watch Clovis North Concert Band (Chamber Orchestra members dismissed to depart for Sonoma State)
12:45pm Load Bus & Depart for Buchanan
1:00pm Arrive at Buchanan/Eat Lunch/Attend 7th Period

10:29am 1st Period Ends. Report right to the Bandroom and set up for rehearsal.
10:39am Rehearsal starts right at the beginning of 3rd Period.
11:30am Rehearsal concludes. Change and eat quickly.
12:35pm 3rd Period Ends. Eat lunch and change quickly. You have 15 minutes!
12:50pm Load the bus.
1:00pm Depart for Concert Hall.
