Taylor currently serves as the Colorguard Caption Head for both Buchanan High School and Alta Sierra Intermediate in Clovis, California.

Her journey in colorguard began at Kastner Intermediate in 2013, where she laid the foundation for a remarkable high school career at Clovis West, culminating in her graduation in 2019. During her time in high school, Taylor earned several honors: she was recognized by her coaches as both the Most Outstanding Colorguard Member and the Most Inspirational Member, and she was named the Most Outstanding Freshman in the marching band. In her senior year, Taylor was appointed captain of the guard. Additionally, she contributed as an assistant instructor for the Kastner colorguard program and Clovis West’s “A” Guard during her junior and senior years.

In 2016, Taylor had the honor of performing with the Clovis West Varsity Guard at the WGI Championships in Ohio. Later that same year, she traveled with the Clovis West Marching Band to Indianapolis, where they competed as semi-finalists at the Bands of America Grand National Championships. Moving into the winterguard arena, in 2020 she performed under the direction of Shavon Garcia with the independent world-class winterguard Imbue.

During the summer of 2022, Taylor joined the Santa Clara Vanguard on tour, helping the ensemble earn a fifth-place finish at the DCI Championships in Indianapolis. Most recently, she competed at the WGI Championships in Ohio in both 2023 and 2024 as a member of the independent open-class winterguard i‑Squared.

Taylor is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Life Sciences at Fresno State. Following completion of her undergraduate studies, she intends to transfer to Fresno Pacific University to pursue teaching credentials and embark on a career as a middle or high school science teacher.
