Missing the Train in Seattle

It was Friday, March 14th, and we were all taking the train back to the hotel. It was a long day, and we had just finished seeing the Seattle Symphony. I was really tired. Me and my friend Andrew were hanging at the back of the group. Everyone was getting onto the train and we were engrossed in conversation. I didn’t really notice the train doors were closing till I realized the person in front of me was out of my peripheral vision. Then I heard the train doors close. My first instinct was to start banging on the doors. So, I started banging on the doors, and yelling at my friend Urijiah, who was inside the train, to tell Mr. Lack that we didn’t make it into the train. Andrew just stood there (I think he was in shock). I started absolutely panicking and thinking of the worse scenarios, like walking miles back to the hotel in the dark. I remember seeing a button on the door of the train. In panic, I clicked the button and the train doors opened. It was a really humbling experience for me and Andrew, and I learned to pay more attention to my surroundings. Another fun experience was Buca di Beppo. I got to know the seniors way better, and we all cracked jokes. I laughed so hard that I started crying and I also choked on my drink. I have learned so much on this Seattle trip, and it was a really fun experience!
