I lost two keycards this trip. It wasn’t exactly a highlight more like a lowlight but it’s notable. The first time I forgot I had to wear black socks and went back to the room and change. I was too busy looking mor Matthew’s extras that I didn’t realize I put the card down. Before I realized, I was already outside and I just decided to accept the fact that I no longer had a keycard. I planned on coming back later and just went down. The second time I went up alone to relax while I waited for the pizza to arrive. I still couldn’t find the other keycard but I was tired and decided to put it off. I played a game on my phone and barely won in overtime. I got so mixed up that when I got called down to eat I left the card again. This time we no longer had any cards left and I had to tell Mr. Lack. That was kind of awkward and I felt so stupid. Eventually I got the extra key and went back up. This time I was ready to find both keycards. I found the recently lost one pretty easily but the one from before was still no where to be found. I looked and cleaned the room until I grabbed Urijah’s backpack. I grabbed the bottom and felt something. I looked inside and it was the keycard. I was so confused on how that was possible. We still aren’t sure what happened but the most plausible answer was that Urijah accidentally shoved it in there. The card could have been resting on top of Urijah’s clothes and when he shoved them into his backpack the keycard also got down there. So now with all the keycards in hand I went down to eat and was victorious. That day I learned my lesson to always check if I have my keycard before leaving a hotel room.
