ASI Band Reminders

• Red ASI Instrumental Music T-Shirt, blue jeans and lace-up tennis shoes.
  ***Wear something long-sleeved and warm UNDER your Band shirt!

• NO EATING IN THE STANDS please… family members should not bring you food/concessions during the event!

• NO PLAYING your instrument unless we’re playing TOGETHER… this is considered part of your grade for the performance!

• Make sure that whoever picks you up knows where the ASI MPR is and knows that they need to COME INSIDE the room and SIGN YOU OUT after the performance!

Alta Sierra Band Itinerary

5:00 pm - Arrive at ASI, get your instrument out of the case, and sit in sections like Spirit Night (NO PLAYING, please!)
5:20 pm - Go out to the practice field and meet the BHS Band.
5:30 pm - Final Star-Spangled Banner run-through with BHS Band.
5:50 pm - Move in a single file line to the stadium, and enter with other Bands.
6:00 pm - CUSD Band Night Begins!
- "Star Spangled Banner" and ”Amber Waves” performed by all CUSD High School & Intermediate School Bands.
- “Party Rock Anthem” performed by all CUSD Intermediate School Bands
- Watch Clovis North Perform
- Watch Buchanan Perform
- Watch Clovis High Perform
- Watch Clovis East Perform
- Watch Clovis West Perform
~ 8:25 pm - Closing announcements. Retrieve instruments from the track, then walk back to the Alta Sierra Bandroom together as a group. DO NOT PLAY YOUR INSTRUMENT AS YOU WALK BACK!
~ 8:45 pm - ASI parents sign students out in the ASI MPR, while students put instruments away.

• All performance times are approximate and depend on the length of each Band’s performance. Please be prepared for slight time adjustments if necessary.

• For safety reasons, students will not be allowed to leave the ASI Bandroom/MPR to go look for their parents outside or in the parking lot.

• Please note: having a parent's signature on the sign-out sheet is part of the participation grade for the performance!

• Students are free to leave once a parent has signed them out.

Buchanan Reminders

• Don't forget your 5 S's - ApolloS (N/A this year), Shirt, Shorts, Socks, & Shoes!

• NO CONCESSIONS. Your family may not bring you food/concessions during this event. Dinner is provided!

• Video Recording is Not Allowed at any Buchanan Performance or Competition. Recording of any group or performance is against copyright laws. Thank you for your cooperation.

• This event is a celebration of the hard work that ALL of the CUSD band programs have done this fall. Please support and cheer for all groups equally!

Buchanan Itinerary

5:00pm Report to BHS Bandroom. Change into uniform.

5:15pm - Take all pit equipment and props to the stadium.

• Front Ensemble on Side 1 Lined up along the track past the CUSD Plants after Clovis North, before Clovis HS..

• All props to side 2.

• OUR SECTION is the Side 2 half of the STUDENT Section.

5:30pm - Set Up for combined SSB with ASI outside stadium.

5:50pm - Move in a single file line to the stadium entrance.

6:00pm - CUSD Band Night Begins

• 6:05pm "Star Spangled Banner" played by all High School & Middle School Bands. Exit field, line up instruments and enter stands. 

• ~6:15pm Alta Sierra Perform

• ~7:05pm Watch Clovis South Perform

• ~7:05pm Watch Clovis West Perform

• ~7:25pm Watch Clovis North, then immediately move to the field.

• ~7:45pm Buchanan Performs. After the performance, move all pit equipment and props quickly to the Side 2 track and stack all equipment, props, and instruments together. Back into the stands.

• ~8:05pm Watch Clovis East Perform

• ~8:25pm Watch Clovis East Perform

8:45 pm Event concludes. Take ALL props, equipment, front ensemble instruments, etc back to the Bandroom/Prop Storage Area. Change out of uniform.

9:015pm Dismissed from Buchanan.
