Concert Location: Paul Shaghoian Concert Hall (on the campus of Clovis North). Map below.
Student Transportation: No transportation provided.
Doors Open: 5:30 PM

Important Reminders

  • We will not report to ASI before the concert, so be sure to bring your instrument home from school!

  • There is no transportation provided to and from this event - be sure to arrange your own transportation.

  • Out of respect for fellow audience members, please do not video record the performance Thank you for your cooperation!

  • Students are required to stay for the entire concert.

  • Please invite your family and friends!

Band & Orchestra Concert Attire

  • Red ASI Instrumental Music Polos w/black pants, black socks, black shoes, and black belt.

BAND ITINERARY (Orchestra, scroll down!)

5:30 pm Report Time

  • 1st Period Intermediate Band: assemble instruments and report to the stage

    • Instrument cases: South carpeted hallway

  • 4th Period Concert Band: assemble instruments and report to the stage

    • Instrument cases: North carpeted hallway

  • 2nd Period Symphonic Band: assemble instruments and sit in assigned rows in the audience

    • Instrument cases: Back cement-floored hallway

  • ALL Percussion: Set up all instruments on stage for BOTH bands before sitting in your assigned rows in the audience.

6:00 pm Band Concert Begins

  • Combined Concert/Intermediate Band & 4th period Percussion will perform first, then go sit in the audience.

  • Symphonic Band will come up to the stage and get seated as the Concert/Intermediate Band exits.

6:50 pm Concert Ends

  • Percussionists should bring home the instrument they brought to the concert, and bring it back to school the next day.

  • Students are dismissed to find their parents (no sign-out necessary).

  • Orchestra needs to set up for their concert right away, so please exit the concert hall ASAP! Students playing in the Symphony Orchestra should remain and find their seats in the audience.

ORCHESTRA ITINERARY

6:45 pm Report Time for all groups.

Please store your instruments in the assigned area. Look for signs. Get your instrument out and take your instrument and music to the assigned row in the concert hall. Basses will be on stage.

  • ASI Concert Orchestra (Neuenschwander):

    • Instruments: North Carpeted Hallway. Sit in assigned row labeled with a sign.

  • ASI Advanced Orchestra (Neuenschwander):

    • Instruments: Back Cement Hallway. Sit in assigned row labeled with a sign.

7:05 pm ASI Intermediate Orchestra takes the stage.

7:15 pm Orchestra Concert Begins.

Concert Order:

  • BHS Area Elementary Honor Orchestra

  • ASI Concert Orchestra

  • ASI Advanced Orchestra

  • ASI Symphony Orchestra

8:30 pm Concert Ends (Approximately). Dismissed!

Parents: Please wait for your student in the lobby. It can get very congested backstage.
