Fall 2026 Buchanan Jazz Band Placements

Thank you to all the students who auditioned for the 2026-2027 Buchanan Jazz Bands!

Jazz Band A will be a 1st period class.

Jazz Band B will be an 8th period class. Although it is outside of the standard school day, attendance will be taken and students will receive a letter grade. On most weeks, we will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:30pm-5:00pm. When this is not possible (such as weeks with Monday holidays), we will reschedule to maintain two rehearsals per week. All rehearsals are on the calendar. Look through the schedule now with your parents to make sure every effort (rescheduling appointments, arranging alternate transportation, etc.) is made to minimize missed class and inform Mr. Fredrickson of unavoidable conflicts as soon as you know about them. This band has the potential to be great, but we cannot do it without regular attendance from every member.

Names are listed in alphabetical order. Parts will be assigned in the fall.
