Festival Details

Student Transportation: No transportation is provided. Students will need to have their own transportation to and from Bullard H.S.
Spectators: All daytime performances are open to the public, but there is a small fee for admission. Please check the festival website for more info.
Parking: Festival location is at NE corner of campus.
Note: The Saturday evening concert is a separately ticketed event and is sold out.

Performer Attire
Buchanan Jazz Band: dress shoes (black socks only), slacks/dress pants/skirts (length must be past the knee), long-sleeve button-up dress shirts/blouses, or nice dresses (length must be past the knee). Coats/ties are optional. Leggings, jeggings, or yoga pants are not acceptable for concert attire. All students must be in CUSD Dress Code.
Alta Sierra Jazz Band: ASI Instrumental Music polo shirt, black dress-style shoes, black dress-style slacks with belt, and black socks (no white socks, please). All students must be in CUSD Dress Code.

Don’t forget to take everything you need home with you after school on Friday!
Festival provides:

Sheet Music, scores, festival packets, festival kit.
Students bring their own instrument(s) and all accessories. Shared equipment coordination below. Verify that all equipment you need is on this list.

Alta Sierra Jazz Band B
7:20am Call time at Bullard High School. Meet outside Band Room.
7:35am Warm-Up (Band Room)
8:00am Performance (Theatre)
8:25am Clinic (N75)
8:50am Store shared equipment in a designated location. ASI Jazz Band B students officially dismissed for day. Students will receive wristbands for entrance to the theater to watch other bands, but they will not be supervised. Please consider staying at least long enough to watch the ASI Jazz Band A performance (see below).
Alta Sierra Jazz Band A
8:35am Call time at Bullard High School. Meet outside Band Room. Please consider arriving early to watch the ASI Jazz Band B performance (see above).
8:50am Warm-Up (Band Room)

9:40am Clinic (N75)
10:05am Store shared equipment in a designated location. ASI Jazz Band A students officially dismissed for day. 1:15pm Call time at Bullard High School. Meet outside Band Room. Please consider arriving early to watch the ASI Bands, BHS Jazz Band, other schools, and the masterclass from Buchanan graduate Ethan Santos!

3:00pm Watch Clovis High A, Sac State, Fresno State, and Fresno City.
5:00pm BHS Jazz A officially dismissed.
All Jazz Bands: Optional Attendance at the Ethan Santos Concert. Separate ticket required (sold out).
